Super KF success in Zuera’s Euro Cup
This is the second consecutive success of our Kosmic Racing Team in the third trial of Zuera’s Euro Cup, particularly in the most prestigious class, the Super KF, with Armand Convers.
Convers driving a Kosmic Kart-Vortex signed the pole position, won all the rounds, the pre-final and the very final, crowning the weekend with a success technically ruled by our team. A technical supremacy also evidenced by the very good performance of Ben Cooper which led Kosmic colours to the Euro Cup’s top classification, scoring 213 points.
Kosmic Racing Department’s great weekend led Armand Convers to a clear success already manifest with the Super Pole achieved during the qualifying. Mercury and Lynx chassis, at our drivers’ full disposal, perfectly fit with the Aragonese circuit’s features. Zuera has a very fast track, with differents altimetries and it is just on these fast paths that once more our chassis found their perfect set-up, furthermore supported by Vortex RAD engines.
By employing the BS7 front brakes, the OTK braking system, our drivers were also able to take advantage of the fastest paths of the circuit.
On the long and fast passages, where Super KF chassis run up to 140 km/h, the aerodynamics efficiency of M4 sideboxes (provided with the precious front spoiler) made its contribution. These and others technical features allowed our drivers, Convers in particular, to make the very final a hard competition for challengers; actually it was necessary to persist through time to win on other racers’ endurance. This way, together with the very high performances of Armand Convers are the Ben Cooper’s ones, who entered both score classifications, contributing himself, too, in maintaining our Team’s leadership in the Euro Cup Series.

Internacional- Sucesso e Liderança do Circuito Internacional de Zuera no WSK Euro Series
O grande final de semana da Divisão de Corridas da Kosmic, levou Armand Convers a um sucesso claro, já então evidenciado ao conquistar a Super Pole durante os treinos qualificatórios. Os chassis Mercury e Lynx estavam a disposição dos nossos pilotos, e se adaptaram perfeitamente as características do circuito Aragônes. Zuera é uma pista muito veloz, com diferentes elevações e mais uma vez, nossos chassis encontraram um set-up perfeito nos trechos de alta, além da potência dos motores Vortex RAD.
Ao adotarmos o uso dos freios dianteiros BS7, o sistema de frenagem da OTK, nossos pilotos também puderam tirar maior proveito dos trechos rápidos do circuito.
Nas longas e velozes retas, aonde um kart da Super KF pode atingir até 140 km/h, a eficiência aerodinâmica das carenagens laterais M4 (auxiliada pela preciosa asa dianteira) mostraram-se fundamentais. Estas e outras qualidades técnicas, permitiram que nossos pilotos, sobretudo Convers, fizessem da bateria Final, uma competição para pilotos de ponta. Na verdade, foi preciso persistência para vencer a resistência dos outros pilotos. Ao lado do fantástico desempenho de Armand Convers, alinham-se os de Ben Cooper, o que ajudou a manter a liderança de nosso time na Euro Cup Series.

“Nós já sabíamos que este circuito nos seria favorável, pois permitiria que nosso motor Vortex RAD mostrasse todo o seu potencial. Os chassis são perfeitos em qualquer situação, tanto em pista úmida ou molhada, quanto em uma pista emborrachada. Na verdade, nós nunca tivemos problema algum, seja em pista escorregadia, ou seja em asfalto de alta aderência.
