Few days after the opening of registration, there are over 180 drivers in the entry list for the WSK Master Series. Besides many big karting teams already entering, an original as well as prestigious partner is going to join the WSK.

The entry list for the WSK Master Series has over 180 registered drivers

Entry forms reach non-stop WSK Promotion headquarters where it is arranging everything to start a new karting season 2011. Since the opening of registration to the WSK Master Series, not a week has gone by that entries are over 180 by now. From the youngest in the starting classes to the professional drivers, every international driver wants a place inside the multicoloured WSK Paddock that is starting his activity before long: as a matter of fact, the first championship round is scheduled the coming February 27th at La Conca International Circuit in Muro Leccese, Italy.

60 Mini starting grid is almost full

In the race for entries, 60 Mini is once again a huge success. In the class for youngest drivers whose age limit is 10 years, there are still few places to fill before reaching the standard capacity of 70 participants. 60 Mini is going to be the first class to close ranks.

In the WSK entry list, bigs are increasing

If the youngest drivers are raring, professional drivers don’t look on. It is indeed larger and larger the list of karting champions that are getting ready to compete in the season’s start in Muro Leccese exactly in a month. In KZ1 entry list, we find Armand Convers, namely WSK outgoing Super KF champion in both the World and Euro series competing with Kosmic team. French driver anyway will be up against CRG champions such as Belgian Jonathan Thonon (2010 WSK champion in KZ1 and KZ2), French Arnaud Kozlinski and Italian Davide Forè. They all join a formation already including Italians Marco Ardigò, Roberto Toninelli and Alessandro Piccini, Belgian Rick Dreezen and English Gary Catt.

Young champions in all classes are entering the lists too

Younger drivers in the other classes are responding positively as well. Dutch Max Verstappen, former F.1 driver Jos Verstappen boy, has entered in KF3 to compete for the second WSK year, after winning both the World and WSK Euro Series in 2010. Similarly, being successful in KZ2 in 2010, Italian Paolo De Conto intends to win the WSK Master Series too. Both of these two WSK champions are ready to win again and the same goes the other Italian driver Antonio Giovinazzi that has entered in KF2 with Scuderia PCR chasing again the same title as last year.

The WSK paddock fills with the most important teams
In the past few hours, other international teams have entered the series such as Birel, CRG, Energy, CKR, Gamoto, Baby Race, Morsicani Racing, Tony Kart Junior Racing Team and MGM. They all join the already present Tony Kart Racing Team, Kosmic Racing Dept., Lenzo Kart, Intrepid Driver Program, Comer, Scuderia PCR, Gandolfi, Ward Racing, Komarov, KSB, JRP, Equipo Jamkart, Genikart and Dep Competition.

WSK live on TV and further important news

It is finalizing an agreement to bring an original and prestigious partner to the WSK and it will be formally announced in the next few days. There is nothing like it to enhance the important role of the WSK Master Series on the circuit as well as on TV. Speaking of which, there is already great expectation for the live broadcast TV series that Rai Sport will provide for all the 5 championship rounds. The web will complement TV coverage on www.stopandgo.tv. WSK races will get live exposure on the very popular information website along with the news on the racing weekend both on the same site and through iPhone and iPad and iPod applications.

WSK live in TV e altre grandi novità
