Si conclude in Oriente il Mondiale CIK-FIA  KF e KF Junior

Il mondo del karting, per eleggere la prossima settimana i suoi campioni iridati KF e KF Junior, si sposta in Bahrain. Il circuito di Sakhir porta per la prima volta nell’arcipelago del Golfo Arabico, sui 1414 metri del Viva Karting Track, il Campionato del Mondo CIK-FIA KF e KF Junior, dopo la prima tappa che si è svolta sul circuito inglese di Brandon, a inizio settembre per la KF, e sul tracciato campano di Sarno (SA), poco più di un mese fa, per la KF Junior. Le due categorie si riuniranno quindi, dal 19 al 23 novembre, sul medesimo tracciato, per la loro seconda e conclusiva tappa iridata. Ubicato accanto al circuito che ospita il G.P. del Bahrain di Formula 1, il Viva Karting Track porterà l’ulteriore novità delle gare in notturna, che sabato 23 novembre, nella grande struttura che sorge a circa 30 Km dalla capitale Manama, avranno la loro giornata conclusiva.

Per Verstappen è caccia al titolo KF

I risultati raccolti finora lo danno come il pilota più in vista della categoria, ma non solo: l’olandese Max Verstappen (CRG-TM-Vega) giunge a Sakhir al comando della classifica provvisoria, dopo aver dominato al primo appuntamento di Brandon (GB). Ma, lungo la strada per il Bahrain, Verstappen ha avuto modo di trionfare anche nel Mondiale CIK-FIA KZ di fine settembre a Varennes (F). L’olandese si presenta quindi agguerrito al Viva Karting Track, intenzionato a completare una raccolta di titoli iridati unica nel suo genere, soprattutto considerando la giovane età (solo 16 anni) del driver di Hasselt. A insidiarlo più da vicino, tra i 55 piloti iscritti al Mondiale in Bahrain, è il danese Nicklas Nielsen (Kosmic-Vortex-Vega), giunto secondo in Inghilterra e mostratosi sempre in forma nel corso della stagione. Altrettanto competitivo è il britannico Ben Hanley (Art GP-TM-Vega), salito sul podio inglese davanti al russo Egor Stupenkov (Energy-TM-Vega), battuto in Finale al termine di un vivace duello. Interessanti a Brandon sono stati pure il polacco Karol Basz (Tony Kart-Vortex-Vega), che non ha concretizzato in Finale il secondo posto espresso in Prefinale, e il canadese Lance Stroll (Zanardi-TM-Vega), a ridosso dei primi in Finale.

Dai favoriti KF Junior emerge Pulcini

E’ la prima volta che la CIK-FIA assegna il titolo di Campione del Mondo alla categoria internazionale riservata ai più giovani. I piloti della KF Junior non vogliono lasciarsi sfuggire questa occasione e perciò hanno affollato la lista degli iscritti, ricca di oltre 80 presenze. In questo elenco sono da osservare i piloti più in vista nella prima tappa del Mondiale, svoltasi a Sarno (SA) nel weekend del 6 ottobre. Sul circuito italiano il romano Leonardo Pulcini (Tony Kart-Vortex-LeCont) ha vinto il confronto sul bresciano Alessio Lorandi (Tony Kart-Parilla-LeCont), ma quest’ultimo sarà ansioso di partire per la rivincita a Sakhir, dove il Mondiale potrebbe giocarsi tra entrambi. In Bahrain non sarà però da sottovalutare il ruolo del russo Robert Shwartzman (Tony Kart-TM-LeCont), così come dell’inglese Daniel Ticktum (FA Kart-Vortex-LeCont), entrambi piazzati a Sarno a ridosso dei primi due. Da aggiungere, inoltre, il brasiliano Giuliano Raucci (Energy-TM-LeCont) e l’indiano Jehan Daruvala (FA Kart-Vortex-LeCont), a loro volta ottimi nella Prefinale di Sarno, pur se sfortunati in Finale.

L’evento cruciale dell’anno sarà visibile in live streaming da www.cikfia.tv e www.cikfiachampionship.com: entrambi i siti, dal pomeriggio di sabato 23 novembre, diffonderanno l’intero programma, dalla cerimonia di presentazione dei piloti fino alla conclusione delle Finali, nella suggestiva illuminazione notturna. In TV Rai Sport 2 trasmetterà martedì 26 la differita delle Finali e, venerdì 29, a il servizio speciale a chiusura dell’intero weekend in Medio Oriente.

Internacional – Confira o preview do Mundial de Kart CIK-FIA de KF & KFJ em Sakhir (BRN)

O karting CIK-FIA vai para o Bahrein na próxima semana, para coroar em Sakhir os Campeões do Mundial KF e KFJ. No sábado, 23, a transmissão será ao vivo pela net, nos sites www.cikfia.tv e www.cikfiachampionship.com. Na TV, o canal Rai Sport – para quem é assinante – fará a transmissão das Finais na terça-feira 26 e, também, na reportagem especial do dia 29 de novembro.

O Campeonato Mundial CIK -FIA KF e KFJ encerra no Bahrain

O mundo do karting está prestes a conhecer seus campeões mundiais das categorias KF e KFJ no Bahrain. O Campeonato Mundial CIK-FIA KF e KFJ será disputado pelos 1.414 metros do Circuito Viva Karting de Sakhir: é a primeira vez que o Campeonatu Mundial CIK-FIA KF e KFJ acontece nesse arquipélago no Golfo Pérsico. Esta rodada vem após o primeiro evento realizado no início de setembro no circuito de Inglês de Brandon, para a categoria KF, e - um mês depois - no circuito italiano de Sarno para a KF Junior.

Dessa forma, as duas categorias irão se encontrar no mesmo circuito, entre os dias 19 e 23 de Novembro para a última rodada de seus campeonatos. O Kartódromo Viva fica ao lado do circuito que hospeda o GP do Bahrain de F1. O kartódromo está localizado a cerca de 30 km de distância da capital barenita, Manama e a grande novidade serão as corridas totalmente noturnas, até o dia das Finais, no sábado 23.

Verstappen em busca do título da KF

Até agora, os resultados dizem que o piloto holandês Max Verstappen (CRG/ TM/ Vega) é o piloto a ser batido na categoria KF. Ele desembarca em Sakhir como líder da classificação, depois de dominar o primeiro round em Brandon (UK). Mas, antes da etapa final no Bahrein, Verstappen também conseguiu ganhar o Campeonato Mundial CIK-FIA de KZ (aqui chamados de Shifter Kart), disputado em Varennes (F) no mês de setembro. O jovem piloto de Hasselt (ele é só tem 16 anos!) chega em Sakhir ansioso para completar sua "coleção" de títulos mundiais. Mas, para cumprir sua missão, Verstappen terá que lidar com 55 pilotos.

Seu rival mais perigoso será o dinamarquês Nicklas Nielsen (Kosmic/ Vortex/ Vega), o vice-campeão do primeiro turno, na Inglaterra. Além disso, o britânico Ben Hanley (Art GP/ TM/ Vega) parece ser muito competitivo: ele subiu no terceiro degrau do pódio, depois de bater o russo Egor Stupenkov (Energy/ TM/ Vega) em um duelo roda a roda na a final britanica. Sempre em Brandon, o também o polonês Karol Basz (Tony Kart/ Vortex/ Vega) deixou uma boa impressão, mesmo não tendo conseguido repetir o bom desempenho da pré-final – em qual ficou com o segundo lugar - na Final. Também será uma boa oportunidade para o canadense Lance Stroll (Zanardi/ TM/ Vega ), que completou imediatamente atrás dos melhores pilotos na final.

Bom inicio de Pulcini na KF Junior (e as boas chances do Brasil)

É a primeira vez que a CIK-FIA concede um título mundial de categoria Internacional reservado aos pilotos júnior. E os pilotos da KFJ não querem perder essa oportunidade de entrar para a história. Talvez esta seja a razão pela qual há mais de 80 participantes inscritos. Entre esses pilotos, os olhos recaem sobre aqueles que se deram visivelmente bem na primeira rodada de Sarno (I), no dia 6 de outubro.

O vencedor da corrida na pista italiana foi o italiano Leonardo Pulcini (Tony Kart/ Vortex/ LeCont), que completou à frente de outro italiano, Alessio Lorandi (Tony Kart/ Parilla/ LeCont), que está ansioso para se vingar em Sakhir: o Título Mundial pode ser uma questão a ser resolvida entre estes dois pilotos. No entanto, há boas expectativas também de outros pilotos no Bahrain: O russo Robert Shwartzman (Tony Kart/ TM/ LeCont), por exemplo, ou o inglês Daniel Ticktum (FA Kart/ Vortex/ LeCont), já que ambos cruzaram a linha final imediatamente atrás dos dois primeiros pilotos em Sarno.

Mas não se pode esquecer de outros possíveis protagonistas, como o brasileiro Giuliano Raucci (Energy/ TM/ LeCont) e o indiano Jehan Daruvala (FA Kart/ Vortex/ LeCont), que apresentaram excelentes performances na Pré-Final de Sarno, apesar de não contarem com a sorte na Final.

International - CIK-FIA World KF & KFJ Championship a Sakhir (BRN) – Preview

The World CIK-FIA KF and KFJ Championship closes in Bahrain

The world of karting is about to award its World Champions for the KF and KFJ categories in Bahrain. The World CIK-FIA KF and KFJ Championship will be hosted by the 1,414 metres of the Viva Karting Track of Sakhir: it is the first time that the CIK-FIA KF and KFJ Championship takes place on the archipelago in the Arabian Gulf. This round comes after the first event on the English circuit  of Brandon, at the beginning of September, for the KF category, and - a month ago - on the Italian circuit of Sarno for the KF Junior. So, the two categories are going to meet on the same circuit, from 19th to 23rd November, for the last round of their Championships. The Viva Karting Track is next to the F1 circuit which hosts the Bahrain. This year, in the racing facility 30 kms away from the capital Manama, there is the novelty of the night races, until the Finals day, on Saturday 23rd.

Verstappen chases the KF title

So far, the results say that the Dutch driver Max Verstappen (CRG-TM-Vega) is the driver to beat in KF. He arrives in Sakhir as the leader of the current standings, after dominating the first round in Brandon (UK). But, before the appointment in Bahrain, Verstappen managed also to win the World CIK-FIA KZ Championship, raced in Varennes (F) on September. The young  driver from Hasselt (he is just 16!) arrives in Sakhir eager to complete his ‘collection’ of World Titles. To accomplish his mission, Verstappen will have to deal with 55 drivers. His most dangerous rival is going to be the Danish Nicklas Nielsen (Kosmic-Vortex-Vega), the runner-up of the first round in England. Also the British Ben Hanley (Art GP-TM-Vega) seems to be very competitive: he stepped onto the third step of the podium after beating the Russian Egor Stupenkov (Energy-TM-Vega) in a wheel-to-wheel duel in the Final. Always in Brandon, also the Polish Karol Basz (Tony Kart-Vortex-Vega) made a good impression, even though he did not manage to repeat the good performance of the Prefinal – where he placed second – in the Final. Good chance also for the Canadian Lance Stroll (Zanardi-TM-Vega), immediately behind the top drivers in the Final.

Good start for Pulcini  in KF Junior

It is the first time that CIK-FIA awards a world title to the International category reserved to junior drivers, and KFJ drivers do not want to lose the opportunity. Maybe this is the reason why there are more than 80 entrants. Among these drivers, eyes on those who made themselves conspicuous in the first round of Sarno (I) on 6th October. The winner of the race on the Italian racetrack was the Italian Leonardo Pulcini (Tony Kart-Vortex-LeCont), who finished ahead of another Italian, Alessio Lorandi (Tony Kart-Parilla-LeCont), eager to take his revenge in Sakhir: the World Title might be a matter between these two drivers. However, there are good expectations also from other drivers in Bahrain: the Russian Robert Shwartzman (Tony Kart-TM-LeCont), for example, or the English Daniel Ticktum (FA Kart-Vortex-LeCont), both immediately behind the first two drivers in Sarno. Do not forget other possible protagonists such as the Brazilian Giuliano Raucci (Energy-TM-LeCont) and the Indian Jehan Daruvala (FA Kart-Vortex-LeCont), who put in excellent performances in the Prefinal of Sarno, even though they were rather unlucky in the Final.
